A little about me
Within the therapy room
Therapy with me feels like a real conversation. No endless nodding or “how does that make you feel?” loops. I talk more than your average therapist because I believe healing happens through honest, human connection. I show up as my full self. Warm, engaged, and real. You’ll never get a blank slate with me, just another human sitting with you through it all.
I work with people who look like they have it all together, but feel anxious, disconnected, or burnt out underneath. You’re the one everyone counts on, the fixer, the dependable one. But lately, holding it all together might feel heavier than it used to. Therapy is your space to put the mask down, catch your breath, and figure out what you actually need.
We’ll get curious about what’s driving your patterns, like overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the fear of letting others down, and find ways to feel grounded again. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and focused on helping you reconnect with yourself, not just manage symptoms.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to show up, and I’ll meet you there.
Outside the therapy room
I grew up in Florida with endless beach days, inevitable sunburns, and the simple joy of a Publix sub. Summers in the Adirondacks sparked my love for hiking, campfires, and slow lake days. After graduating from Florida State (Go ’Noles!), I traded Birkenstocks for snow boots and moved to Chicago for grad school at Northwestern. Now I’m settled in Wake Forest, North Carolina with my husband and our two special-needs dogs, Sadie and Bode, my little co-therapists (and yes, they’re HIPAA compliant).
Outside of therapy, you’ll usually find me with a coffee in hand, hiking, skiing (surprising for a Floridian!), or catching up on college football, true-crime docs, or Bravo. Movement, creativity, and connection keep me grounded, whether that’s floral arranging, HIIT classes, or planning our next adventure with friends and family.
I believe a grounded therapist is a better therapist. My goal is to help you feel that same sense of steadiness and support in your own life, coffee included!
People often ask why I became a therapist, and honestly, it started long before grad school.
Growing up, I carried more than most kids should. I experienced things that shaped me in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. I learned how to blend in, to hold it all together, to be “fine.” But underneath, I often felt invisible. That feeling of not being fully seen or understood stuck with me.
That’s why I do what I do. I know what it’s like to carry pain quietly, and how life-changing it can be to finally feel seen. For me, therapy isn’t just about processing the past. It’s about helping you feel recognized, valued, and safe to rebuild at your own pace. My goal is to create a space where you can exhale, let your guard down, and rediscover the parts of yourself that got buried along the way.
Because everyone deserves to be seen and to feel like they matter.
